Cocktails were good at the bar.The hotels location is great, very central. Room was quiet and bed very comfortable. I think the hotel is showing its age a bit, although this didn’t effect our stay.

Had the most wonderful 1 night stay at the harbour Hotel celebrating an anniversary - on arrival, was informed that we had been upgraded and even received note and chocolates congratulating us, very thoughtful touch. Friendly staff. Room was very clean, huge bed and was very comfortable, aircon was also a plus in this heatwave. Would definitely return

Excellent hotel in a fab location. The only thing that let it down was a poorly organised breakfast with a lot of items run out (and no more available, according to staff) by 9am on a weekend, which is poor. Be aware that the spa access and breakfast are NOT included in the Expedia rate, which is not made entirely clear on booking. You need to pay extra for these (breakfast approx £12-18pp, spa access approx £15phpp).

I enjoyed a fantastic massage in the basement Spa, and would thoroughly recommend this as a luxurious, city centre hotel. The staff were wonderful and made us feel very relaxed. I'd love to go back.

I bought a stay for my daughter’s birthday and she said that she had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and the staff were wonderful. I emailed the team advising them it was my daughter’s birthday and they went the extra mile, she had a room upgrade and was also greeted with a birthday cake and a box of chocolates. She was so surprised and delighted. She was so impressed we booked a stay too.

The main aim of our visit was to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Given the price of the hotel, I was expecting a little more in terms of overall quality and also fewer additional charges. The room itself was nice, but it felt quite cramped. Everything seemed squeezed into the space, and we often had to move one thing in order to use something else properly. We stayed in Room 401 and unfortunately the outside noise was a major issue. We could hear nearby bars emptying bottles into bins until around 12:30am, followed by a large truck arriving at approximately 6:30am to empty them. This made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The spa was nice and a pleasant place to relax, but it was disappointing that access came at an additional cost, particularly considering the overall price of the stay. This was just for spa access and did not include any treatments. Parking is also around a five-minute walk from the hotel. This isn’t necessarily a problem, but the walk could be challenging if you have anything more than a small suitcase. Overall, there were some enjoyable aspects to the stay, but for the price we paid, I expected a little more comfort, convenience and value for money.
