"The Miðgarður by Center Hotels is an excellent hotel. The staff made us immediately feel welcome and was very helpful during our 2 stays there. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and well appointed. The food in their attached restaurant, Jörgensen Kitchen & Bar, was outstanding. We enjoyed both breakfasts and several dinners there. The location is walkable to all parts of downtown Reykjavik and right next to one of the desiganted bus stops for all tour and transportaton companies. We would plan to stay there again ."

"A fantastic hotel. The rooms we very clean. We had a great view from our room, looking out over the waterfront, with snow covered hills in the background. However, I believe that some rooms looked inwards over the hotel lobby. The hotel is spotleiclean and the huge hotel lobby has many features. The staff were supremely helpful and friendly, but at the fear of singling one in particular out - a big shout out to Olga, for whom nothing was too much trouble, a real credit to the hotel. The hotel is just a little way out of downtown Reykjavik, but there are 2 bus stops nearby, and the bus ride is only a few minutes into the centre. If I go back to Reykjavik in the future, then without hesitation, this is the hotel I would look to book."
