It was raining and cold, we were made welcome and shown to rooms until we were happy with the choice!, room was warm clean and tidy. Breakfast was great lunch was delicious. 「The check in was easy and the team are friendly. My room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. I ate in the evening and also had breakfast. Everything was tasty and well cooked. I would stay here again if in the area - the bar is very nice, oak beams and a good atmosphere.」

「Country style hotel, small but comfy. Room is clean, but a little bit old. Its breakfast is great, services free English style full breakfast, and cooks after taking order.」

「Brilliant stay at the Villiers Hotel. We received a room upgrade and found ourselves staying in a Duplex Suite. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff all kind and caring and very well trained. Hotel room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well heated during the cold spell we were experiencing. The hotel was very well maintained and presented quite a quirky and interesting persona. Breakfasts were promptly presented with an excellent range of cooked choices. Always a free parking space...

「Excellent stay, quiet room and good food. I suggest staying in the main building, as the annexe is far from everything, and the path between the annexe and the main building can get slippery on rainy days (and it rains a lot in England). The wine list and beer selection need improvement.」

「The management team is very friendly and helpful but security sense is not sufficient as the cleaning lady forgot to close the windows. If you do not request too high standard of room service, it would be a good choice.」
