"This was a nice option for a quiet short stay. The hotel is farther from the town center than is ideal for walking, but is very conveniently located for driving jaunts to Salem, Gloucester and beyond. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. (We were given an upgrade which is very appreciated!) The room was very comfortable and well-appointed."

"My husband and I stayed here overnight after a show at Soundcheck Studios. Very clean. Right on the water. Nice area to walk around. There are bars and restaurants nearby and a coffee shop. Also some cute shops around. We were there in February so it was a little chilly outside but nice area to walk around. They have an outside patio you can sit on in the warmer weather. "

"The property itself was beautiful but it was not stocked well. One roll of toilet tissue, One roll of paper towels, not baggies, etc and not a dish cloth in sight to even wipe the counter tops. We had 5 people and I had to call for the extra linens that I paid for and then I trip tried to bill me for more money in an email and also put a charge on my cc after they sent me emails that I paid in full,which they had to refund. It was very disorganized."

"Visiting the kids who are in Boston, one north of and one south of... Used the Dagney as home base for one week. It was absolutely wonderful. Clean, modern, friendly. Doorman super helpful. Actually all staff helpful. 10 minutes to the airport. Cool coffee shop with the best cold brew. Restaurant had dollar oysters every evening. Within walking distance of the North End (little Italy), so Great access to pizza, Italian subs and homemade cookies. Loved the neighborhood vibe in the city. Great bed, pillows and linen. Modern.
