"Wir haben die Hikks Villa mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern gebucht. Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Strand, entsprach in einigen Punkten aber nicht unseren Erwartungen. Während unseres Aufenthalts ergab sich folgendes Bild: Die Küche war völlig veraltet und schmutzig (vor allem die Mikrowelle ist einfach nur unhygienisch). "予約完了後、数時間でホテル側から「設備の破損があり修理に4〜5日掛かる。キャンセルしてくれ」とのメールが来た。この時点でキャンセル料が100%掛かる時間帯。こちらからキャンセル手続きをすると宿泊代が戻らないかもしれないと考えてそのままにしておき東京の窓口に電話。何度かけても時間を変えて掛けても日にちを変えて掛けても繋がらない。祝日で休みだったのかもしれないが旅先で問い合わせ窓口に電話が全然繋がらないのはとても困る。当日、直接ホテルに出向くが看板が無く分かりにくい。やっと見つけたら開いていない。誰もいない。隣のアパートにオーナーか従業員が居たので事情を聞くと、彼らからキャンセル手続きはした。彼らにもサイト側からの返信が無いとのこと。最終的に数日が経過して代金の払い戻しのメールが届いた。窓越しに眺めた部屋はサイトの紹介通り良さそうな感じだったので泊まれなかったのは残念だ。入口の階段に多数の野良犬の糞が落ちていたのはいただけない。また同じ地域に行くことがあれば今度は泊まって評価を出したいと思う。"

"Suite Lanka is such a lovely place. We stayed for 11 days so longer than most and throughout our stay the staff didn’t put a foot wrong. This is what makes this place special. If you want an ultra modern bland hotel then this is definitely Not your place. Our rooms ( pool suite and adjoining room) were comfortable and spacious, with good air con and beautiful bathrooms. Beds were really good quality and comfortable. The pool is not massive but god enough for a cool off and immaculately maintained. We were there in monsoon season so no sea swimming but we managed most breakfasts by the beach which is a great area. Breakfasts had great variety and plenty of food, fruit , pancakes, Sri Lankan porridge recommended. Overall a great stay with amazing staff."

"We had an amazing stay at hotel Dormero. The hotels right in front of the beach which made it very convenient for us to go around swimming and other beach activities which were nearby. The room itself was kept spotless with daily housekeeping. The staff were very nice and polite. We even had the opportunity to celebrate new years with the staff and eat amazing food. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would recommend. "

"A nice hidden spot near the railway station with fleeting views of the beach, friendly staff and access to the gym next door. It’s a reasonable walk to Turtle Bay, but the main restaurants/bars are approximately 15 min walk away. BUT, a Tuktuk is like £1 (GBP) so very reasonable. A great stay overall."

"The room has good air conditioning and the bathroom, good hot water. It's a rustic cabana type place, perfect for its location in front of a quiet beach. Not your city modern hotel. I love to mention the manager, always there for guests, friendly, helpful and a good cook. The ocean water is very clean, the sand is soft under the feet, very good usable beach for walking, swimming, surfing...As women, we feel safe at this quiet, not crowded beach. Walking distance to small seafood restaurants, coffee, etc... I would come back and highly recommend this place."
