"Lovely location and you can walk straight onto the beach where you can spot giant turtles swimming. Room was spacious with ocean front balcony, bathroom clean but tired. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of options. Great base for visiting Galle as well. Plenty of shops and restaurants outside. Friendly and helpful staff."

"I had a perfect stay at Royal Beach Hikkaduwa. Room was spacious. Room was very clean including nice and fresh linen. They always asked me if I need any help and was really helpful. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had lunch and dinner at there Lumina Restaurant and Bar. Food and cocktails were amazing. Hotel is just in front of the beach and honestly it looks like a paradise. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who travels to Hikkaduwa. I will definitely come back next year for sure. "This place was heavenly. Close enough to Fort for tuk-tuk far enough a way for a lovely peaceful space. Pool area was lovely. Rooms spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast was also perfect and served up to 11.30 They didn't offer dinner but that was no problem as we were able to order Uber eats and they gave us plates Wonderful massages too A lovely chilled oasis "

"Best hotel that I stayed on in my trip in Sri Lanka. Check in was easy. Room was very spacious and clean and had a nice balcony. Nice shower with hot water. The restaurant attached had very delicious food and drinks! I highly recommend staying here. Staff was friendly. "

"The room was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The hotel is luxurious. Two beautiful pools and very good food. The views are stunning over the ocean. The beach is not suitable for swimming due to heavy surf and a strong side current but Talpe beach a 1.5k walk or tuk-tuk away has a safe beach behind a reef. "

Service in general was very spot on especially Chaminda, who took really good care of us. The kids club ran by Shashini was very well received by our daughter and overall we had a really good time hear. We would love to visit again! "

"Loved this little bit of paradise. The pool and view is the highlight, very quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Great food, fresh and very reasonable. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. Only negative is that there is no mini-bar so no easy to keep you water and drinks called, although you can always get ice from the bar. Suits couples more than families. Staff are lovely and super helpful. Highly recommend."
