Top Higashikurume Hotel Reviews

Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. Close to Shinjuku Station."

APA Hotel & Resort Roppongi Ekihigashi
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay at APA Hotel & Resort Roppongi Ekihigashi. It was competitively priced and located ideally for our stay in Tokyo (within walking distance of the Tokyo Tower and teamLab Boradland). The room was smaller than desired, but I understand this is common in Tokyo. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful We would have no problem staying here again when we visit Tokyo."

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
2/10 Terrible
"Not family-friendly — avoid if you have children We stayed at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku briefly before catching our flight home, and it was honestly the low point of an otherwise incredible Japan trip. We booked specifically because our 9-year-old is a huge Godzilla fan and we wanted to surprise him with the famous Godzilla head on the building. Sweet idea in theory, but the reality of the location completely overshadowed it. The hotel sits right in the middle of Kabukicho, which means you’re surrounded by drunks, street prostitution, and genuinely filthy streets (huge rodents roaming around, beer bottles and cigarette butts everywhere) Not what you want when you’re traveling with young children. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable just walking around the area. As for the room itself — it felt like a run-down motel. Nothing about it justified the price or the Shinjuku address. It was a sharp and disappointing contrast to the rest of our accommodations throughout Japan. The only reason this doesn’t affect our overall trip memory is because we were there for just a few hours. If we had stayed longer it would have been a much bigger problem. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere in a cleaner, calmer neighborhood."

Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku
10/10 Excellent
"This is the second time we stayed at this hotel, very convenient for everything and the hotel staff very nice."

Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-ariake
6/10 Okay
"It was a very independent check in and check out process which is Greta if you’re tired of talking to people, but I like a personable touch at my hotels so I missed that aspect. I would’ve liked someone to walk me through the ins and outs of the hotel. It was also so hard to find the entrance form outside taxi drivers didn’t know where to drop you either. More signage outside would do good. There weren’t many amenities compared to a lot of other cheaper hotels I stayed at this trip and it’s pretty out of the way of most things in tokyo. Overall pleasant! Just wish there were a few personal touches and more clearly outlined rules and signs !"

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower
8/10 Good
"Very nice location from JR Ryogoku. They have subway Ryogoku station that a little far. So I recommend to get of JR Ryogoku station. Many places to eat around the hotel. 2F convinience store (Lawson) was awesome. You can get a taxi easily in front of the JR Ryogoku station. but the hotel can call taxi in front of the hotel(extra charge 500 yen)."

Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was NICE! The check in process was straightforward, the staff were genuine and helpful. The amenities around the hotel (private onsen, gym, family mart, and restaurant) were also phenomenal. I felt like this hotel had artsy vibes but also felt like home. The breakfast buffet in the morning was epic and very beautifully put together (felt like fine dining) and the staff there were so friendly! I can’t wait to visit this hotel again when my hubs and I visit Japan again ❤️"
