"The breakfast buffet had lots of options - I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit, bacon and eggs. The room was spotless and the shower was incredible after a long day - the pressure felt like a massage. The hotel lobby is beautiful and features wood and wood carvings from the local area. The onsen was also a wonderful treat at the end of the day, although, sadly, the outside area was closed during our stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay at hotel around TAKAYAMA — the location is super central and convenient to public transport for both the JR West line to get into Takayama from Tokyo and also the Nohi bus for a day trip to Kamikochi. Something super memorable about this stay was the amazing slippers available in the room which had ball-shaped padding in the arch area for foot reflexology — perfect after a long day of walking. Highly recommend this stay! Thanks for the wonderful service to the staff...
