「The check in was easy and the team are friendly. My room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. I ate in the evening and also had breakfast. Everything was tasty and well cooked. I would stay here again if in the area - the bar is very nice, oak beams and a good atmosphere.」

「Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. 」

「It is a 2* hotel on a side of a fairly busy A road - one cannot expect a Savoy. It was clean, warm, the room quite large and comfortable, the staff kind and friendy, plenty of parking, easy distance to where we needed to be. Breakfast - a toast with jam or marmalade available by the reception. Included in the price of a £50 room I considered it a nice extra rather than breakfast I should rate for variety or quality. We’ll definitely be back!」

「Excellent stay, quiet room and good food. I suggest staying in the main building, as the annexe is far from everything, and the path between the annexe and the main building can get slippery on rainy days (and it rains a lot in England). The wine list and beer selection need improvement.」

The young lady (who seemed quite new) on the reception desk was very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help, despite being honest that she was new and it might take a little time to sort a few things. Can’t ever fault anyone for their honesty as everyone has to start somewhere so thank you very much to her for making me feel so welcome. 」

「Very well located hotel for Harry Potter Studios and also the local train station for trains into London. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent price, including a free breakfast, which was great. Most of all, the staff were all excellent, very friendly, efficient and very good at their jobs! We would definitely stay again.」
