「Nice clean room with a full size fridge and a stove and oven. Only issue I had was the outside lights shining in my room while I was trying to sleep other than that I had a good experience 」

「We enjoyed our stay very much! Originally from Maui, Ocracoke reminded us very much of old Lahina and Paia towns. Black Beards Lodge is funky and awesome. Our room was clean and comfortable with great rocking chairs out on the front porch to watch the birds and people watch. Its a great location for walking to restaurants and just up the street from the Ocracoke Coffee Co. Only minor suggestion would be to attach a hook on the bathroom door. 「The view was amazing but I booked early to get a ground floor. There was alot of beach erosion and they moved us to a top floor. I asked if we could have the ground floor and they said no! Im handicapped so it was a problem! When the people came in Friday night and we were leaving Saturday morning they said no one asked them or they definitely would have switched with us!」

「Property was suffering beach erosion after the winter and early storms on the Oceanside. But spectacular view from room and deck on the Oceanside. We should have asked them for a regular coffee pot. Very disappointed that the hot tub was not even warm. We went for beach horseback ride and for 62 yo we sure could have used it. Mgmt tried to get propane for hot tub . But just couldn’t. 」
