"We were extremely well taken care of and enjoyed experiencing a more traditional stay. The location was excellent. The service, especially Hurumi were lovely and attentive. The chef did an amazing job making two incredible dinners for us. We loved the roof top bar. "

"The hotel was really close to the Ferry Terminal and we were able to drop our bags and head off quickly to see the sites. Restaurants close early on the island so eat around 5-6pm. Staying overnight lets you go up the ropeway at 9am before the day crowds hit (they are substantial). We went over on the JR Ferry and came back on the fast boat to the Hiroshima Peace Park. The Ropeway is excellent. Hotel breakfast is very good. "

"Great service from the staff and room (432) was the nicest i have stayed in over 21 years visiting Japan. This is a traditional style Japanese Hotel so no shoes but well worth the stay. Highly recommended and a must over ight stay if visiting Miyajima !"

"Lovely stay in a Japanese style hotel. We are travelling around Japan and this is the only traditional hotel we have stayed in. We loved the experience of slippers on arrival, yukata robe for dinner, futons transforming our tatami room to a bedroom, traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. Super helpful staff for us novices!"

"This is a delightful hotel run by very helpful and friendly people, and we had a wonderful stay. We were in one of the Japanese-style rooms with a view of the water, which was amazing. The room was very comfortable. The oysters cooked at the place at the hotel entrance were great. "

"This area really surprised me. It is remote but is beautiful! The resort is very old and needs a good cleaning. The entrance area had a mouldy smell, but the room were VERY big and clean!! Lots of room and liked the decor. I did like the private onsen, but it was not what I expected. It was more of a tube outside on your deck. I was expecting continuous hot water flow like in the public onsen."
