"Our room was pretty clean. Small but clean. The size didn’t really matter to us because we were out exploring most of the days. The meal deal for dinner and breakfast is a pretty good deal with lots of options at their breakfast. However, our second to last night at the hotel we ended up with a clogged toilet. I tried to call reception and nobody answered. I went to the desk and was given an email address and phone number for customer relations. I emailed them and the automatic response that I would get a reply within five business days. I tried to call reception again and nobody answered. I received an email response back the day after we got home. This email did not even offer a solution and told me that I did not send enough information to pass their security check. By that point, it was obviously too late, so I did not reply with the requested information which included my billing ZIP Code, my room number, which I had given them in the original email, my email address, which was the one I used to message them to begin with, the property address, which I had told them in the original email which hotel it was. So it looked to me like I got a copy and paste response with no solution."

"The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I appreciated having both a Nespresso machine and an electric kettle provided in the room. The breakfast, which is extra, is delicious. The hotel's location, within easy walking distance of Richmond Green, Kew Gardens, and the Tube, was excellent. Those with heavy luggage should be prepared that some rooms are a half-flight of stairs above the elevator."

"Our stay was extremely disappointing due to multiple issues and poor customer service. We were given a room with a phone that wasn’t working, which became a serious problem when my son got locked in the bathroom. As the phone was unusable, my daughter had to go all the way to reception to ask for help. In the end, I had to use a nail file myself to unlock the door, which was stressful and unacceptable. We were already rushing, as we were only informed at check-in that children are not allowed in the pool after 6pm. This added unnecessary pressure to our stay. When I reported the phone issue, the staff member simply offered to fix it and said there were no alternative rooms available for us. Someone came to “fix” the phone, but later we discovered the wake-up alarm had been left on. We were woken up at 5:45am, which was extremely frustrating. Whether intentional or not, this should have been checked before our arrival. I reported the issue again in the morning, but the phone still wasn’t working properly. The room itself was also too small and uncomfortably hot. What was most disappointing was the lack of care from staff…apologies were offered, our messages were ignored, no solution was provided, and no refund was considered. We felt completely dismissed and poorly treated throughout our stay."
