"Is a cool property as it's the old US naval Base. The decor is very eclectic and unique. It needs a little bit of a maintenance as some things have been worn down. But you can't beat the price for the proximity."

"We arrived around midnight Reykjavik time after SAS canceled a direct flight from CPH to KEF, rerouted us to NUUK GREENLAND after a 21 hour 40 min delay , SAS also did not provide a hotel or taxi voucher in CPH as the staff claimed they would. After the unnecessary extra distance to Nuuk and then another 8 hour delay, we finally got back to Iceland, where we had a room in Reykjavik. We were too tired to try to drive to town, so booked a room at the Aurora for the same night. Unfortunately, due to my jetlag and stress cause by SAS airlines, I failed to book the room before midnight that night, but did not realize this until getting to Aurora. The front desk staff was SO VERY KIND to point out the error, but provided us with a room for the night anyway. KUDOS! Also thank goodness there was a room available! High praise for your flexibility and customer service. Sorry I did not write your name down. But also this may save you flack from management re: making me pay again for the stated night! YAY Aurora BOO SAS!"

"I had a very pleasant stay at Raven's Bed and Breakfast. The location is extremely convenient, especially for anyone needing quick access to the airport. The staff were amazing throughout my stay, always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The facilities are also very good, with comfortable, well-maintained rooms and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, I would highly recommend Raven's Bed and Breakfast for its excellent service, comfort, and convenient airport location."

"This was a great property for a first night in Iceland as it is close to the airport. I did not understand that it is more of a 'bunk house' situation. Our room, which I thought was only for two people had a double bed and 3 sets of bunk beds. Luckily no one else was in the room. It all worked out OK and that was probably just my misunderstanding. It was clean and neat and like I said, super close to the airport without being in a big city atmosphere!"

"The cottage was very nice and roomy with a view of the Harbour. However, the bedroom is really small and barely any room around the bed so the person at the back would have to crawl over the other person to get out. But loved all the space after smaller hotel rooms in Iceland. Check in was super simple. Note there is not a lot around this area due to the past volcano action. It is close to the Blue Lagoon though, and that is why I picked it. We enjoyed Papa's for pizza but then were sort of out of luck for breakfast on Sunday. There is a kitchen though, so plan ahead if you plan to stay awhile."
