Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious, clean, and was set up for us to rest after our flight in. The guesthouse is next to a restaurant which is very convenient, we didn’t have time to try it but it seemed very popular. The town is very quiet, makes for a nice walk.

Perfect for our needs. Family style guesthouse with small kitchen, ample sleeping space for 2 adults and two children, couch and TV (though who stays in to watch TV when visiting Iceland?!). Fantastic value. Everything we needed.

The property is situated in a town that has been abandoned due to the presence of an active volcano. As a result, the area is now a ghost town with no available amenities, and it feels unsafe to stay there given that all former residents have relocated. Additionally, the property's layout is unconventional, as it involves sharing an apartment with another family. While I have stayed in various hostels before, this particular arrangement felt uncomfortable and did not meet my expectations.

The guesthouse was very nice - beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, location good with a short walk to grocery store, restaurants, and the amazing city pool! It is a simply furnished guesthouse but met all of our needs.

The guesthouse was clean and spacious enough for 4 adults. The location was perfect to explore the nearby volcano, visit Blue Lagoon and other attractions in the area. Eat at the restaurant next store. It was delicious.

Worked well for us!

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of sleeping spots for a family or group. Nothing fancy, just basic, but it worked well for us. A good restaurant next door was a bonus. Close to the Blue Lagoon. 20 minutes from the airport.

A good option to Keflavik.

We were in room 1 - it was very large. Two sofas three bedrooms three bathrooms and a large kitchen. The warm air hit us as we walked in the door - very nice. No awful sprays or other bad odors. It was just what we needed including a washing machine to clean the baby clothes. I recommend staying here. It is a very practical and comfortable place. Papa’s pizzas and fish and chips is near and has good food. Other sights are close by and not busy.
