"This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly, breakfast was excellent with good quality products…. I didn’t have dinner at the hotel, but the menu is varied and the people I saw eating seemed to be enjoying themselves.
It’s less than 10 mins from the A38, through country lanes which makes you feel as if you are a lot farther from the hustle and bustle than you actually are…..a gem of a find and I will be back…."

"We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms, which was spacious and comfortable. We had to issues, the shower when put on a full spray only trickled out but on a fine nozzle was ok.
The other was we had a blanket in our room to put at the bottom of the bed, but I had to get to changed as it smelt very strongly of dogs.
We ate in the restaurant which was good but the food choice off the Thats menu was quite limited.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful."

"The car park is small so unless you arrive very early best to use the multistorey down the road. The room was clean and cool with the window open but the bathroom door wouldn't stay shut without using the dodgy lock. We're not big TV watchers but the tv was very small. We paid for breakfast £10 each which was a buffet and the food was hot and well cooked. The weather was very hot but the radiators were on full blast in the public areas. The hotel is a good base for the Barbican area and the harbour. We would stay there again "
