「The hot water, shower head, and air conditioning were fine. The second night I killed a cockroach and noticed what I would say look to be a slug (slimy fat looking worm).」

「Good breakfast」

「BEWARE DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION. This place is roach invested and reeks of cigarette smell. The overnight staff is rude and disrespectful, she and the residents hang out in the front of the building smoking cigarettes.」

「 Very good! 」

「Customer fighting with clerk. Room had to be unlocked by clerk and was advised if we left someone would have to reopen the room. Tv was unable to connect to any channels.」

「Great to see the renaissance of downtown Gastonia. The Esquire is a cornerstone of the surge. When we were looking for lodging in the area, we saw the Esquire and we were delighted to see the old bank and lawyers’ building converted. The staff was amazing. The restaurant sources from all locally owned farms and suppliers. The rabbit gnocchi was life-changing. I wish I could rate higher than all 5s. Thank you Esquire- we will be back soon!!!!!」

「The bed where comfortable and shower was great pressure and hot water」
