"It was a short stay. the breakfast was overpriced so we declined it. the room was teeny. there was a folding chair stored with a strap against the wall. The room was so small there was no point in having the chair. The bed seemed smaller than a double. We paid extra for a window, and it was an almost normal window but it was mostly blocked by a wall that was built in front of it! It was fine but I wouldn't book there again."

"This was booked via Hotels.com for two nights on behalf of a friend in need. Because the guest never made it to check in on the first day (due to being in hospital) the second day was cancelled as a 'no show' on the first evening even though it had been paid for in advance and they arrived on the second day after an arduous period in hospital only to be told no room booked.... far from impressed. "

"Apex is a wonderful hotel. Our rooms were clean and comfortable (especially the beds!). Size of bathroom was great as well with a bathtub and good sized shower. The closet space is generous, with mini fridge and kettle, tea and biscuits/popcorn; which is nice touch! The location: this hotel is 3-4 minute walk to Tower Hill tube station which makes it very easy to get around. Also very close to Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Thames, Leadenhall market, Sky Garden…it’s a fantastic location."
