「We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied. 「Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. 「Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

「Lovely place to stay the night whilst we were visiting Chatsworth House. Nice and quiet ample parking. The room was really clean and everything we needed was provided even a fan which was a god send as the weather was sweltering. Had a perfect nights sleep. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant. We had both and evening meal and breakfast the food was lovely, hot and well prepared. 「Exceptional property with great service. They make sure your stay is pleasant and that you are well fed. Location has a beautiful hike right behind that overlooks the valley. 」

「The staff were lovely, helpful, visible and polite. The food was great for the 50% off which it was that day. The restaurant, reception and room no complaints at all. The only thing I could say to improve would be the stairwell to the rooms wasn’t hoovered and didn’t look like it had been for a while. The carpet was also ripped in a couple of places. 」
