「Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. 「Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. 「We stay at the Travelodge in Sheffield to move my son out of Uni halls. The Travelodge was easy to get to and parking was next door. The staff were very helpful, especially with the parking. They also informed us on breakfast, dinner and bar times and about door lock times and what to do. 「Lovely place to stay the night whilst we were visiting Chatsworth House. Nice and quiet ample parking. The room was really clean and everything we needed was provided even a fan which was a god send as the weather was sweltering. Had a perfect nights sleep. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant. We had both and evening meal and breakfast the food was lovely, hot and well prepared. 「One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. 」

「We had a wonderful stay at The View. The room was lovely, very spacious and overlooked the rolling hills, plus it was quiet. 「Lovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. 「The property itself was ok but it is joined to a building site and all you hear is stihl saws loud music and shouting and swearing from the builders. The 9 pm noise curfew is a joke, bangra until the early hours. Stay Angels were no help at the point of complaint, nothing we can do was their mantra.」

「I had a great stay the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were most helpful and approachable making me feel more settled as I travelled alone. The breakfast was amazing and hot! The room was clean and there was complimentary things in the bathroom which you never get! The only snag was I could hear some sort of generator or air conditioning unit that didn’t go off/ quieter until midnight and I like it quiet when I sleep or I can’t sleep.」
