"Well positioned pub, clean, friendly staff, and great breakfast! Chose as not far from friends visiting and Chatsworth House. Would stay again. Function room has discos and events, but not noisy from our room. Fan in the room which was needed during the heatwave."

"Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts. I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect! Thanks so much. I hope to be back soon."

"The hotel was lovely all round from the staff, the food and the marquee. The breakfast and buffet food were really nice. We were given a room next to the marquee which was a great location for us as we attending the wedding reception. The room was lovely and even had a fenced private patio’s area accessed directly from the roof through French doors which was an unexpected surprise. The grounds are also lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would choose this hotel if visiting the area again."

"Great vibe. Our Small room we think is more suitable to solo traveller, but we made do for 1 night. Mattress not comfortable. Room a bit tired too. Toilet seat loose. Overall very clean. Nice bar and restaurant. Pricey for what we got. Thankfully booked via Hotel.com and got good discount. Have stayed before in bigger room which was overall better value for money. Family in Dronfield so will use again."
