「Everything about this place was top-shelf! From the wonderful entrance to the hallways leading to the spacious well-equipped rooms, to the excellent food in the restaurant and the smooth drinks from the bar. 「What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.」

「The owners were so sweet, very informative about area and places to eat nearby, the room was so clean, heater worked great, bed was so comfortable, water pressure excellent and those towels were like blankets, the breakfast was menu with lots of choices including the full Scottish breakfast as an option, tea was great, coffee was wonderful, location was on a working farm it was the best stay thus far on our roadtrip thru Scotland, would definitely stay again!!!!」

「We booked an overnight here while attending a surprise 50th birthday party. We were met by Bruce who showed us to our apartment, we were over the moon with it, it was absolutely 1st class. We finished our night off in The Star Hotel bar downstairs, so was just a short trip upstairs to bed, which i thought would have been noisy tbh, but we never heard a thing. We would definitely recommend staying here, great little place.」

「Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. 」
