「What a find! Loved this place from the moment we clapped eyes on it. Positioned right at the entry to restaurant row Oxford Street, the theme is definitely in keeping with the mammoth impact and relevance of the Titanic to Southampton but without any cringey cheesyness that one might fear in a themed setting. Lovely staff are welcoming and helpful, room utterly delightful, and the breakfast was truly THE best we’ve had at any stay in the UK. Thank you for having us (at such short notice!).」

「Picked this hotel as a stop off for the ferry to jersey. Had everything we needed. Breakfast really good. Had to pay for parking which we didn’t really appreciate.」

「Wonderful gem! We had a whirlwind stay for just 2 nights between docking at Southampton and leaving for Heathrow, but we crammed in a trip to Brighton to see family. The location of the inn was perfect: we could've gone into central Southampton easily enough, and having the train station a few minutes walk away was perfect for getting around. I only wish we'd had more energy and time to hang around the pub some more!」

「No pool due to maintenance which was a real upset. Rooms were basic, clean and no issues for the price. We had ordered connecting rooms and had to ask for the door to be opened between them. Breakfast was good only negative was the coffee machine didn’t warm the milk. We tried 3 times and it was always the same. Good for one or two nights and free parking was a bonus.」
