A perfect blend of family-friendly and chic. Felt like a treat and the restaurant food was so fresh and delicious.
All the little touches were so well received. Will definitely stay here again.
Very clean room nice treat left in our room on arrival, staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast cooked to order and hotel very spacious very beautiful hotel.
Enjoyed our time with you many thanks
Beautifully and recently renovated property with luxurious rooms, loads of nice details and small touches. Breakfast was good, dinner a bit hit and miss. Interesting menu and generally tasty but at £95 for two (without alcohol) it didn’t always meet expectations and a couple of dishes were a let down. Would happily revisit the chain for bed and breakfast.
Problem with Netflix & Google cast which was raised with the team & by the next day it was all up & running. Great rooms, good food & amazing team.
Highly recommend
Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Recently refurbished bar, restaurant and rooms.
Most powerful shower I’ve ever had!
I had a lovely Sunday Roast whilst there too.
Excellent, the little arrival chocolates are Devine & a lovely touch. As is the welcome postcard.
It’s these little things that make it a home from home, lovely beds, great food - nespresso machine & illy coffee.
Pure class, highly recommend.
I never give 5 stars, but here we are.
Staff were superb on arrival, helped settle me in & made to feel welcome.
I know it's just been done up but there's not much not tp like at the Potters Heron. The staff are always super pleasant bordering on actually enjoying their jobs (I wish I was the same), food excellent although the menu could change monthly. Rooms, very clean but being a man who hates cushions, ditch them please :). It's a great place to eat and stay. Happy hour as well 5-7 weekdays. Not had breakfast yet but if its like the eveing meals then I can imagine its great.
Recently renovated, every aspect of the property and design choices are exceptional. The dinner menu creations were inventive and delicious.
However, our room No. 36 was without WiFi. (“Hotel WiFi not connected to internet.”) And you cannot adjust the room temperature using the thermostat.
A+ regardless.
We stayed at The Potters Heron recently and had a fantastic experience overall.
The staff were excellent, really friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself is in a lovely location and has a really nice feel to it. It seems quite newly finished or recently updated, as the décor inside was very well done and gave the place a premium, comfortable feel.
The food was really nice, and breakfast in particular was excellent. We ate in during our stay and were very impressed.
The only slight downside was the size of the room. We booked for two adults and two children, and although the lovely staff brought in two pull-out beds for the children, this did make the room quite cramped. Considering the price paid for the room, which was fairly high, a little more space would have been ideal.
That said, this was only a minor point in what was otherwise a really enjoyable stay. Great staff, lovely surroundings, excellent food and a very well-presented hotel. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it.
Excellent hotel which was like the Tardis. Was nice to receive a room upgrade on arrival.
Staff were all brilliant the food was very good both at dinner and breakfast. Would definitely return.
Amazing. Clean, recently renovated. Room was decorated to a very high standard. Food amazing. Staff friendly, smiley and helpful. Really, couldn't fault it.
