All the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The receptionist that checked us in and out remembered us and asked about our evening. It’s nice to be treated as a person and not just a nondescript customer. The hotel was run very efficiently, it was very clean in room, the receptionist that checked area and the breakfast room. The breakfast was very good and was included in our fee. The wait staff were very attentive. Will definitely recommend and use this hotel again.

The Room was clean and purposeful, Staff were Excellent, Breakfast was lovely. Car Parking was tight! and required a reshuffle occasionally to accommodate people leaving there car whilst on a cruise. Overall we had a lovely stay.

The hotel was an oasis after our flights in from the US. They had an excellent dinner & breakfast in the hotel, so we didn't have to hunt something up before heading to Portsmouth for our cruise. It was within walking distance of Southampton Common, for a nice walk as well.

Excellent, clean, well maintained Hotel. Staff, from the front desk check in staff to the restaurant serving staff were excellent. We loved our stay. If you book it, be sure to include the breakfast as it’s 14.5 BP each a day so that would be very expensive otherwise. Ours was included and consisted of eggs your style, sausages and bacon, baked beans, tomato and toast. It was huge. The second day skipped the bacon, tomato and beans and it was still a big, nutritious meal. Loved our stay and the staff made it a wonderful stay. We’d stay there again and recommend it to all of our friends and relatives.
