「The owner is very very nice. We biked from nyc, and heading to upstate NY. We booked this hotel at the last minute because it's close to empire State trail. The room is quiet and clean. The owner allowed my kids to pick the strawberry, raspberries and tomatoes. Everything tasted so sweet right off the vine. This literally made their day. Unless you are young and don't care, make sure you get a ground floor room - the upstairs rooms require a walk up a large staircase, and are inconvenient.
