I thought this was a great choice for a low budget stay while I was in Hudson for an event. Close to downtown, the room was clean, updated appliances and a very comfortable bed. My own issue was as I returned to the place following an evening event and parking was very limited. Otherwise, a good place.

The owner was nice and responsive. The stay wasn’t bad for a short weekend, the room did have a really bad smell, the bed was really uncomfortable and had a smell to it as well. Shower didn’t stay warm for longer than a few minutes.

What a perfect place to spend time upstate! This is a great choice if you're looking to relax in a hot tub, see some chickens and pet a cat, or take in the calmness of the river. There are plenty of amenities, including a full kitchen (no oven but there's a hot plate, among other things). The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! They also have a stand at the Hudson Farmers' Market on Saturdays where you can buy honey and sandwiches!

A lovely, comfortable and cozy place to use as a base to explore New York and Massachusetts. The little kitchen is perfect for a nice meal and Steve or host is very helpful. I highly recommend this lovely place!

We loved our stay at Micosta and will definitely be back. The room was clean and spacious- with an entire kitchen /living room area- it had everything you would need - even a sweet hand written welcome card and chocolates. Stephen the owner was so kind and sweet. It’s a beautiful location right along the river and very close to Hudson.

We stayed here for one night to break up a long drive, and overall it was a decent experience. The property itself is beautiful, with lots of plants and gardens, and it looks like the host is continually improving and adding to the space. The room was clean and comfortable once we got settled. When we arrived, it appeared the room hadn’t been cleaned yet, but after reaching out to Steven, he responded immediately and had his housekeeper come take care of it right away. Check-in and check-out were both easy and straightforward. The kitchen area was fully stocked, which was a nice convenience. Steven was also very welcoming and even invited guests to help themselves to the strawberries that were ripening on the property. A few things kept this from being a higher-rated stay. Around the property, there were beer cans, work materials, and even a couple of dead mice, which took away from the otherwise beautiful setting. It was also extremely hot when we checked in. There was a window air conditioning unit, but it didn’t really cool the room down until the middle of the night. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for travelers looking for an affordable place to stop for the night.
