「While our stay was otherwise pleasant, it ended with a serious security issue that should never happen at any hotel. At approximately 7:30 a.m. on the morning of checkout, a man used a working key card to open our room door, claiming he had previously stayed there and left his shoes behind. 「We've stayed here many times and have noticed the hotel is starting to show wear and tear from the transient workers. Having grown up in the area, we refuse to pay a lot of money to stay in Monaca/Center Township, PA. We pulled in and two huge men (workers) were hanging out in the main entrance. Then, only one of our two keys worked despite three tips back and forth to try and fix it (battery needed changed). Then, there was only one tiny soap for two adults, staying two nights. 「The hotel was not clean the floors by the elevator were dirty. There was also spilled drink around the garbage can that was never cleaned. The bathroom in our hotel room floor was dirty.」

「Broken curtains in the room. Very poor insulation - could hear every neighbor walking around at all hours of the night. Breakfast was supposed to be served at 7. I was there for a competition and on a schedule. Very disappointed that all I had to eat was cereal because breakfast started so late. The staff was friendly. It was just a disappointing stay.」

「The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The facility is well worn and we had to switch rooms due to the phone and refrigerator not working. The worst part of the stay was the construction going on. Hammering going on before 8 am and the worst part was loud bangs around midnight. It sounded like rolls of carpeting being dropped on the floor literally shaking our room. We have used this hotel for stays in the past when visiting family but will be looking into other hotels next time.」
