「Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and lovely to speak to throughout our short stay. The hotel is immaculately kept and tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities. Bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were supplied along with shaving and dental kits. Enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommned.」

「After a long day of emptying a property, we were looking forward to getting to our room and winding down for the night. Upon arrival into the room, it was like an oven opening up the door. It was 30-degree heat outside, and not one window had been left open to help ventilate or keep the room cool. 「Lovely accommodation in a pretty, quiet village. Pub closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so needed to drive or a 20 minute walk to find somewhere to eat. There is a nice village shop across the road. The pub breakfast and dinner were both good on Wednesday. Tbh it was really nice to be somewhere so quiet and peaceful and it seems many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in IOW. Would recommend, especially if you have a car. Owners helpful and easily reached on Whatsapp. Good walks nearby.」

「Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome. 」

「The only factor in favour for the hotel is the history and the period property. It needs sprucing up the exterior and somewhat the interior. Room can get hot despite not south face. Breakfast was too slow and so we left without having the main item , 40 minutes after entering.They wrote that breakfast is leisurely but it could be putting a spin on the low staffing.Reception personnel are not quite welcoming or service like..」

「首先房間內沒有WiFi服務，現今社會，酒店沒可能沒有Wi-Fi服務，他的酒店只供應大堂，房內設施簡陋，沒有雪櫃也沒有保險箱，房間內亦沒有盒裝紙巾供客人使用，也沒有提供樽裝水給客人。 我也住過他鄰近酒店而且價錢比這更還低港幣$200一晚，但是他每天提供兩支樽裝水，第一天入到房內還有朱古力贈送，他們房間的Wi-Fi接收能力還比自己的上網卡更強，也有盒裝紙巾放在睡床旁邊！ 所以再對比一下，這間酒店的好處只是近碼頭！其他不值一提」

「Loved our stay and so did our dog, especially the doggie sausage for breakfast! I made full use of the swimming pool and hot tub and had it to myself. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will come back.」
