Thanks guys great stay spotlessly clean room really good hot shower sea view decent tv room was lovely and warm bed really comfy so much so that i didn't wake up till 8.30 instead of my normal 5 00 will definitely be back couple of small things a mat or tray to put muddy boots on in the room would be good all in all really good thanks again

Very accommodative team at the hotel. All the staff were very helpful. Amazing location and conveniently placed for any bus journeys planned to other parts of the island. Sea view room truly made our day! Had no trouble at all.

We had a beach view room which was spacious and had an absolutely stunning view over the beach and cliffs over a distance. We came to the island for my son’s fossil hunting. He’s 9. We listened to the high tides at night, absolutely worth it. Even with the window open, it’s still warm during the day in the winter. Will revisit.

This hotel is from the 70s. Very noisy and could hear every room around you. Only has a food hygine rating of 3 so dont eat there.

The position with room facing the sea excellent. Very narrow corridors. Dated hotel decor. Sraff very helpful. Very clean room. I woukd definteky visit again if price was right and i could be guaranteed a similar room with sea view. Area of Sandown very run down

Comfortable hotel with great seaviews.

Comfortable rooms with great seaviews. There was a little confusion at reception on our arrival as they didn't seem to know that we had already paid. Hotel is popular with coach tours so dining room got very busy, that said service was still excellent. Entertainment in evenings was a single singer with prerecorded music as back up but was really good (60s to 90s songs). No air-conditioning, but a fan was provided in rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Clean and comfortable

An attractive hotel on the seafront. I had a seaview room. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a little tired in places, but overall it was good. My double glazed window had moisture inside it and this was a little disappointing given I paid extra for the view out of the window. It wasn't bad enough to complain however, but it would have been nice being able to see through the window easily.

Not worth for the money.

The overall stay was ok. Cleaning service was very poor. They did not clean well and they have not changes the bedsheets. Water in the shower was not working. The water was pouring not good for taking shower. Toilet flush was not working which means you have to press flush for five times.

hmm if you want to go back to the 1950's book now. The overall area is disappointing -- nice beach tho. Restaurants are all below par. Service is terrible. I wonder if it's because many in the service industry have gone back to Europe? In any event... avoid. oh.. and book a taxi well in advance.

Friendly welcome and very well organised in terms of meeting COVID restrictions. Whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Comfortable room, comfortable bed and well designed bathroom. Good value for money & excellent Expedia booking options of cancellation policy and room payment on arrival. thoroughly enjoyed our stay & look forward to returning later in the year.
