The hotel overall was excellent. On arrival was welcomed, given room and told when breakfast was served the next day. Room clean and in keeping with the history of the building (Grade 2). The breakfast was very good and all staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend.

We found our stay at the hotel a good one ,the room was very spacious and the gardens outside were exceptional , breakfast was well served and an all round pleasant stay . If I was nit picking ,the one thing that my wife complains about in most hotels that there was no light above the mirror and no ledges around it to put stuff as she gets ready

Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome.
