"I was excited to stay here for the first time but unfortunately was disappointed and won’t return. The room was okay, but there were cleanliness issues — a rust stain on the kitchen floor, a dirty mini fridge, and a coffee-stained cup left behind. Children are not permitted in the restaurant, as the only access is through the casino, This made it difficult while traveling as a family."
"Upon arrival there was no shampoo, 3 pillows per queen size bed x2, 2 wash clothes/towels etc for family of 4. When rang we rang the desk for shampoo, towels and additional pillows one did deliver them. The pool area was filthy and the hot tub was unbearable. People were getting out coughing maybe from the chemicals or the ridiculous a mouth of foam on the surface, peoples body’s were completely covered with it. I was amazed they were even getting in it. Personally, Wouldn’t go back. "
"Was in town to see Jo Koy (awesome show BTW, at the Avenir Centre). The first room we got, was behind the building and it didn't feel very safe for my daughter and me. So I asked for a room facing the main parking lot and was probably given the best room possible. I got a room on the 2nd floor that directly faced the main office and looked into the main parking lot. This room was absolutely perfect, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and breakfast was delicious. All in all, a great stay just a few minutes from the venue! Will definitely be back. Total paid was around $150 all in for 2 queens (for 1 night). Other hotels closer to the venue were either sold out, or charging $400-500 for the night. Seeing that parking was free behind the venue, I didn't mind driving a few minutes to get there."
"The breakfast was ok. The sausages were not good. They were grey and did not taste very good. They also have a weird make you r own pancake thing that is overrun by kids. Wish they had a waffle station. The cinnamon rolls were also no good imo. When I pressed the button for apple juice and only water came out. So overall not the best as far as the comp breakfast. I would just rather go out and pay for something better.
Room was just a standard hotel room. Nothing special. Better sound proofing would be welcome because we were up when our neighbors were up whether we liked it or not! The rooms climate control was noisy if you wanted anything warmer than 20 degrees Celsius.
So all in all a fairly typical hotel stay at this price point."
