"This was a great first stay in the Tokyo area. The area is pleasant and not as overwhelming as other areas of Tokyo. Walkable and comfortable. Bathroom was really great looking back and the breakfast was a delightful start to the morning- delicious melon bread and fruit, granola, many Japanese offerings, as well as bacon, sausage, etc. We stayed in the Hello Kitty room, as a family of four, and we were all happy and comfy. The 7/11 was a huge bonus!"

"This was an additional night for us, as we decided to come to Tokyo a day early. Only a twin room was available, this however on arrival at a room seemed to me more like a large double as there was no gap between the beds! If we had not been a couple but two friends this is quite intimate! The room itself is small by London standards but a usual size for Tokyo. Excellent location of hotel in Ginza and a 7/11 is across the street. Hotel provides excellent amenities, including bath salts, hair bands, razors and tea/coffee. There is also a microwave, ice machine and ice cream vending machine"

"This is my third stay at the Grand Nikko and the Grand Nikko could be a great hotel but it’s not quite there yet. The good: the staff were all great and very helpful, bed and bedding good and a good selection of amenities in the room. The less good: room could have been a bit cleaner - still some drink drips here and there and a bit of dirt around light switches / door handles and a few hairs in the shower. The love seat sofa in our room had seen better days and should be thrown out as it was heavily stained. Shower had no shelf for shampoo etc. The convenience store never had any sandwiches left whenever I visited at various times between 7.30am and 10.30am. Did not try any of the restaurants, but the layout of the buffet, cafe and full service a la carte restaurant could be improved to make more inviting. Overall though, the hotel is a solid choice for the price and is convenient for the Disney Parks."
