This guest house felt like a home away from home. The fire was inviting and the staff were warm and fun to talk to about rugby and all things South African. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were individual and comfortable.

Staff was friendly and helpful!!

The property has character. Room was not very big but comfortable. Staff really took interest in what we did during the day and came up with suggestions. Friendly. Breakfast good.

Fabulous place to stay with an amazing staff. We greatly enjoyed our visit.

Truly gracious experience. Amenities that typically cost extra were included, such as wine, sodas and snacks in the room. The host accommodated a late checkout on our departure day so we had a place to rest up before our flight. A truly first rate, first class experience. We look forward to returning

We stayed two nights - the hotel staff were very helpful in recommending restaurants, spas, and helping us make reservations. The hot breakfast they made us to order was excellent!

This was our third time staying in this lovely hotel. The staff are warm and friendly and very professional. The breakfast is always delicious and freshly cooked. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and include a kettle with an ample supply of tea and coffee. We look forward to staying there again next year!

We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!

The property was clean and safe. The staff was lovely. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had just the amenities we wanted. The breakfast was a delight!

Amazing

Great property. Excellent staff. Lovely pool and breakfast area. Just an FYI - we had a room with large walk in shower in the bathroom. The glass was so clear we both walked into it, at different times. Otherwise was FABULOUS!

Very beautiful area and property grounds with AMAZING service. Would recommend for sure.
