「Picture warning, the Superior Room does not contain the in-room hot tub/bathtub. It has a bunk bed. The pictures are not accurate, read the room description. The staff was helpful in getting me a full refund for booking the “wrong room” but the lobby had a terribly unpleasant smell upon entering and the room we did get had obvious dog hair on the bunk bed and a lipstick stain on the king bed pillowcase.」

「It has been a long time since I've had such an enjoyable time staying in a hotel and will recommend this place to everyone heading to the Mount Rushmore area. All staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean. The beds/pillows were comfortable. The rooms were quiet - we didn't hear any neighbors at all. The bathroom was clean and the shower head was awesome. It was so nice to have the full size pumps of shampoo/conditioner and body wash, but it was really awesome to have the hand soap...

「Being a Hampton Inn I expected more, overall it was good, the breakfast was standard fare and did the job. Parking was good. The worst thing was we were there for 8 days and had to beg for towels, empty trash. Our bed made only once. I asked the front desk after a couple days for housekeeping to come and do a full clean - vacuum, mop, trash, bed etc. Not done! We paid good money and never been so disappointed. The staff was nice enough but doesn’t excuse the lack of cleaning.」

「I will say, the only reason I am not giving this a better rating is because nowhere on the website or when we made the reservation were we told that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations, and the key amenities we were looking for (namely the swimming pool for our kids, and the hot fresh breakfasts) were not going to be available. I don't care how friendly the staff is, or how nice the rooms, when this level of restriction is not publicized prior to booking, it is an extremely poor look...

「Close to the 90 and Mt Rushmore. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Warm fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Used the whirlpool and pool and liked them fine. Across the street from Mongolian BBQ which we loved. Clean comfortable room and beds.」

「Good location. By nice creek and park and lake. Easy drive to Rushmore, Custer Sp, Crazy Horse, Deadwood and Sturgis and downtown Rapid City and the Badlands. Laundry. Helpful staff.」
