One of the trail heads around Ft. Ord National Monument. The trails are a combination of paved roads, dirt roads and sandy paths. Manzanitas on all sides. Live oaks and lace lichen make this a wonderland of gnarly branches. The light rain the morning we hiked gave the manzanitas a shine and a depth that was surreal!
