This is a lovely little property conveniently located to the square for shopping- a 3 minute walk. There are two beaches to access. One being by the square with all the restaurants or El Prado park (we preferred less people). Both about a 5 min walk. There are beach chairs to be borrowed at resort but they are first come first serve and people hang onto them their whole stay. There are also kids toys and some floats you can borrow.
The exterior (pools, plants and flowers) are beautiful! I’ve never seen orchids growing so perfectly in nature- very impressed! There are two pools, and a hot tub which was not hot while we were there.
The owners, a married couple, are kind and helpful. They have their hands full with three buildings! They do not have beach towels so be sure to bring one (or you can buy two for $12.99 next door). Laundry is on site.
The rooms are dated- think 90s. If you’re a clean freak this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you are a low to moderate maintenance person- this is a wonderful family owned feel at a price point you can’t beat. You really don’t need a car here either.
I would stay again, property is relaxed.
I saw some reviews about loud people and smoking a lot- I didn’t experience this at all.
