The view was absolutely stunning, the location was second to none. The room was huge! A whole kitchen even included. You could hear the upstairs guests, but it is an old hotel, to be expected. A fan would be beneficial to circulate the cool air better. I will stay again, zero complaints!

We really enjoyed our stay at Riptide. It’s an outdated building but is kept up well. Check in was a breeze! I was even given a quick tour. The coffee window is quite nice for morning coffee. The amenities are great including beach chairs etc. Would love to stay here again.

Live music most of the day and night was a plus! Loved the tiki bar and the fact that we could hang right outside of our room on the patio with tables. Coffee bar right onsite, too. Beautiful view of ocean and easy access to beach. Rooms are dated with no frills but the other pluses make up for it.

The room was a bit dated, however, the location is great! Great view of the ocean, and located along the Hollywood Boardwalk. There was, however, an issue with the hot water during our stay. They tried to repair and were very nice about it. Great stay.

I would have given the property a 5-star rating but there are small things they could do to easily improve it. We knew it was an older property but we didn’t want to be in high rise. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We were on the ground floor and you could walk out your door into the Tiki bar and beach. This place has character and characters. The tiki bar draws a fun local crowd. The staff is nice and helpful. We were there for Halloween, what fun! You can’t beat the views and plenty of walkable bars and restaurants nearby.
