「The shepherds hut I stayed in for one night was so warm and cosy, it was like staying in a giant wendy house. I would have liked face to face contact with the host, but I guess thats a "sign of the times" Beautiful view of the countryside. 」

「Great stay. All the amenities you could wish for. Very clean, loads of toys for small children and a lovely garden. Barbecue area and play area also great. Parking was easy too with a large parking space that had room to get out two children with car seats. Extra parking available at the bottom of the road. 」

「The room was clean and tidy with 2 x single beds, ensuite bathroom with shower. Tea/coffee, although more sugar would have been appreciated. I was late checking in, 11pm, yet the host was there to greet me on arrival. I was also early to leave in the morning so no time for breakfast served from 8am-9am. My only gripe really was the view from my window looking out into the back garden. A tidyup wouldn't go amiss but that's me being picky. Because of my flying visit, I wasn't able to to see any...

「Great place to stay for a gig at the Cheese and Grain. Central location. Staff really friendly and helpful. Evening dinner menu was varied and bar had a nice atmosphere. Good breakfast and overall good value. Room had lots of character. Bathroom could do with an upgrade but was functional for a short stay.」

「Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, ...
