Wow!! What an amazing place to find for a last minute weekend away. An idyllic rural setting, with a stunningly unspoilt river nearby. We even saw an otter swimming along! Honestly this place is top notch, beautifully decorated accommodation, lovely bed linens and huge extremely comfortable bed complete with electric blackout blinds on the windows. Lovely bathroom too. Staff were warm, friendly and inviting. But the best thing about this place is the amazing food. Everything we tried was superb, homemade bread and wood fired pizzas for lunch, amazing a La carte meals for dinner. And whatever you do, don’t miss out on breakfast. Homemade marmalade and sourdough toast and the best full English I’ve had in a long time!!
