「Good breakfast. Lovely food at dinner」

「This hotel is close to the City Centre and has around 5 parking spaces for clients. The staff were very kind and helpful. The property is very old and each room is named after the Cathedral bishops. The room was light and airy with windows that open. We were at the back and there is a public path which was a bit noisy. The rooms are fine but could do with some updating. The breakfast was made to order and hot which cannot be said for more modern hotels in the City.」

The only slight criticism was of the very limited choice of breakfast cereals - just rice krispies and coco-pops. 「We arrived quite late in the evening and were very lucky to meet the very pleasant and helpful receptionist as they were leaving. We might not have been let in if we had missed them. It wasn't made clear in the booking form that a telephone number was needed by the hotel to contact late arriving guests. Breakfast was great and the dining-room decor fun. Staff all helpful.」
