Even though it was a bit further from the hiking activities we did, having the car and driving to them worked out perfectly for us. "Fabulous hotel right in the centre of Grindelwald. Bus stop right outside and a short walk to both the train station and cable car for Grindelwald First. Hotel spa was wonderful after a long day of walking and the restaurant food was excellent. We had a garden room with Eiger view, highly recommend for the space and views. Incredibly helpful staff on hand to offer activity suggestions and can even book tickets for you. Overall a wonderful five night stay."
