We greatly enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel! We are at the hotel every day, which was very easy after days of adventure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As previous reviews say there is a hill to walk up but we did not find it difficult however if mobility is limited a car would be necessary.

One of my best experiences. Friendly staff, cozy and clean room with a spectacular mountain view. The only drawback was the steep streets leading to the property, but the vehicle they provide for guests made our stay much better. I would definitely return to this charming hotel.

Our stay here was excellent! The staff were great, the room was large, warm and comfortable. They offer a lovely breakfast. If you can get a room with the view of the mountains, do it! The view, especially at night was like a Christmas painting. Little lights peppered throughout the snowy mountains. It is a bit of a walk up a hill, so if you have mobility issues, uber or know that it’s a bit of a climb. Would and do 100% recommend this stay!

We had a great stay at Alpenhof in Grindelwald. The hotel is uphill from the main street which makes it quieter and improves the views. The staff was welcoming & friendly. We loved the daily breakfast. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a nice balcony with a great view.
