The Victorian Inn is well preserved and we were very impressed with our lovely room. The newly opened reataurant served quality food that was clearly made from scratch. The next time we are in the area we will stay there again, probably for a couple of nights so we can spend more time exploring the beautiful town of Fernale.

The person that checked us in was friendly. We stayed in room 205 which was a little small but the massively high ceiling made it seem a lot bigger. The bathroom was huge and clean. The sheets on the bed were incredibly soft and the bed was comfortable. The building itself is very cool and has historic photos everywhere. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Best Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.

What a little gem of a find. Want to step outside of the big city, come to Ferndale and The Victorian Inn for an evening. And just take a break from the hustle and bustle in this quaint little spot of the world. Comfy! The Inn owners are thoughtful and it’s reflected!

Beautiful and Comfortable

Beautiful place in a very quaint small town. We were there for only one night, as this was one of our stops during a trip down PCH. This hotel is definitely a centerpiece in the small town of Ferndale. I wish we had more time to just stay and relax. The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. If we ever have a chance to return to the area, we will definitely try to stay at the Victorian Inn.

Very well put-together 19th century property. Do not expect a hot breakfast with your stay as we were disappointed based on expense of the hotel. People in Ferndale are very friendly and welcoming.

The Victorian Inn is a wonderful and charming hotel in the heart of Ferndale, CA. It is set right in town, close to dining and shopping options. It's a period hotel, so don't expect a modern look, that's not what they do. I would also suggest packing light. There isn't an elevator (or we never found one) and rooms are on the second floor. Take advantage of the grab-and-go breakfast- it's a nice touch.

The owners/managers are very nice. But: - Everything in the village closes around 7-8pm. Totally quite and dark after that. -The restroom was poorly cleaned (un-flushed toilet). Staffs may forgot to check it - It would be better if they at least give customers a dish of breakfast (instead of handing out a plastic box), and open the dining room for breakfast (instead of asking customers to sit in a dark bar with so sun)
