「My main problem was sorted once I reported it, but it was an unusual scenario, I believe, in that my room had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. The manager was superb in accepting my observations and promised to get the room cleaned by housekeeping the following day whilst I was out (I stayed for 2 nights). 「Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi」

「The room was beautiful and clean, as were the gardens and building, and the check in was friendly. If we were reviewing based on that alone it would be 10 out of 10. Unfortunately the fundamentals of a B&B, ie sleeping and breakfast, fell way short. The noise from the planes meant a very disturbed night's sleep. We did not know, nor were we advised, that we were on a direct flight path with planes coming in very low and loud right above the hotel. We bearly slept. The breakfast the following day...
