「Stayed for a couple of nights while in town for a wedding. Clean and comfortable room. Had a 4th floor room; it was quiet even though it was close to the elevator. Friendly staff. Great coffee. Standard free breakfast. Easy and quick drive to the center of Lexington. I’d recommend staying here, I’d definitely stay again.」

「We have stayed at the Gin many times and this stay was very good. The property, while historic, is well maintained and clean. I was concerned by some reviews but found everything to be well cared for. Our accessible room was large, spotlessly clean, had high ceilings, heavy woodwork, and a modern updated bath. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast is minimal and self-serve but was adequate for our needs.」

「There was no body lotion in our room. Refrigerator was not cold and my cold packs did not freeze overnight. The bed was terrible. Slept poorly. We will never stay here again. Breakfast was awful. Eggs were terrible and the selection was minimal.」

「The lodge was secure, and I really appreciated that the staff allowed us to check in early. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. A few things could be improved, such as replacing the shower curtain and ironing board, and giving the refrigerator a more thorough cleaning, as they had noticeable yellowish stains.
