「We got a room for us and our English friends. We loved it. The restaurant was great. That night we all had the carvery, I was impressed, for English food it was good. We stayed in room 9. 「The bar is very small and closes early - we were exhausted so certainly wasn’t an issue for us and the restaurant was a decent size. Meal was good, great selection of drinks, room (spitfire) was clean and comfortable and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The young lady (owners daughter?) served us in the evening and the following morning very efficiently and competently so thankyou! Breakfast was included , very tasty and perfect size. First time staying here and I will stay again 」

「Great host and a very pleasant room. We had the room with the private garden, which would be super, if it had been a tad warmer. The restaurant recommendation (which came through after booking)was very helpful, along with other useful info on the local area. 」

「We throughly enjoyed our first visit ,the staff were very helpful and informative. The room was clean and well equipped. The food was also to a high standard and a good choice.」

「Owners were very friendly and great at communicating ahead of our arrival. We had a fridge in our room, which was really helpful and the water and tea/coffee/biscuits left were lovely. The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was amazing - really great quality sausages etc. would definitely stay again if we were ever in the area.」

「Beautiful B&B. Room was delightful and so spacious. Our hosts made us feel very welcome, finding us books and information to enhance our trip. You could feel their warmth and felt that they enjoyed hosting. Really lovely people. Breakfast was excellent in your own private space, every thing you could need or want was there. The gardens are beautiful to enjoy and the building stunning. Highly recommend.」

「Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation.」
