"Great location, a literal two minute walk to the beach or the town itself. The room was presented decorative to our 10 year anniversary, compliments to the staff going the extra mile. Overall the room was very good, hygienic and perfect for a place to rest and recover from the days events. Our only minor observation was a faulty shower tap making it difficult to adjust the temperatures of the water and a window that was in a set position. This was challenging as it was a warm evening and we couldn’t open the window anymore than 10inches for a fresh breeze. Would recommend and definitely won’t be the last time we would visit the hotel if we were that way."

"Lovely hotel by the sea We stayed at the Langstone Cliff hotel before a concert at Powderham castle. We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was lovely and the drinks were cold. Having parasol’s kept us cool on a very hot day. Our room was lovely, quite small but had everything we needed and the air con was an added bonus. The travel to Powderham was easy and relatively quick with only a short walk to the station and then about a 15 minute walk to the concert. Breakfast was very good and service was again great. We didn’t manage to try the pool but it looked lovely. Highly recommend this lovely independent hotel."

"Lovely experience from start to finish. Easy check in, parking right by the lodge we'd booked and very peaceful and quiet. No air con in the lodge but we'd taken our own fan, only to find several already there. Lovely seating area outside and whilst we didn't use the self catering facilities everything was there had we needed to. Full size bath next to one of the doubles, and a separate shower room meant plenty of facilities for the six of us, with a twin room spare. We'd booked to use the lodge on a night we were attending an event at Powderham Castle as a group and it was ideal."

"The staff, we found to be friendly, helpful and efficient. Room bedding and towels were clean with replacements available if required. Rooms were serviced alternate days, but also on request. Breakfasts were well presented with plenty of choices from hot, cereals, fruit, pastries etc We had dinner most evenings, which we enjoyed, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Also sandwiches were available if requested at lunch time in the bar."

"Another lovely stay at the Manor. Staff very welcoming. Room comfortable but be prepared for old fashioned. If you want newer and more uniform, pay a lot more at the Premier inn with its scaffolding still!! I like Exmouth's old hotels they have character and offer GVFM . We didn’t have breakfast but did have food in the bar the evening before which was excellent. Book parking ahead of your stay as it’s limited. Out the front there are public spaces, but v limited."
