We had an en suite double room with kitchenette which was big and but very dated, booked room only so can’t comment on food. Room was clean and good value, use of pool and leisure facilities were included (unfortunately we didn’t have time to try it). Lovely garden, friendly helpful staff. Would stay again but probably upgrade to a sea view room next time. Great for short no frills stay.

Great location and comfortable room with everything needed provided. Public transport was close by and nature and wildlife was in abundance around. I had a peaceful stay. Would come again.

The room was tired, but clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok, a little expensive for what was on offer. Parking was fine, right by the hotel front door. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I stayed for a few days in a 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. It was on the top floor and the stairways leading to it were a bit ropey, but when I got inside I was pleasantly surprised! The apartment was dated but amazingly spacious and clean with everything I needed and more. It had a very handy kitchen area, a dining and sitting area, along with a spacious bedroom with an en-suite and a further bathroom. The view of the sea was amazing. The leisure facilities were exceptional with a lovely indoor pool, where I joined in an aquafit class and there with a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There’s also a gym, which I didn’t use but my favourite was the heated outdoor pool. The gardens were also beautiful and there was a little gate at the end which leads to the beach. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help and I was made so welcome when I joined a group of local ladies at the aquafit class. I only had breakfast on one of the mornings but it was very tasty and great value for money. I heard rumours from the locals that the hotel is at risk but hope that isn’t the case, as I would really like to return.

Enjoyed our stay.

The size of the room was excellent, as were the staff. Unfortunately the rooms and plumbing systems really need updating. The Hotel is in a very good location and we enjoyed our stay.

Charming and quaint old-fashioned style about it. Beautifully tended gardens with croquet and other lawn games available. Room very spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Lift to all floors. On first floor (where we stayed) the fire doors were very narrow and stiff so wheelchair access would be difficult but doors to rooms were okay. Heated outdoor pool in a secluded area sheltered from the wind and pleasant to swim in. Easy access to the beach via security gate with 10 minute stroll. Close to many sites of interest and the town centre for eating. Garage with super EV charger less than 1 mile away from the hotel. Full English Breakfast was excellent and is worth booking the night before to keep the cost down. Would be happy to stay here again.
