Alma Del Pacifico Beach Hotel & Spa

"The rooms are spacious especially if you book the ones with small pools. Our room did not have blackout curtains. In the past they did and I would suggest they get them back so you can sleep in and also have better privacy. The restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner. In most beaches in Costa Rica it is very crowded. Here I sometimes had the beach all to myself. Great sunsets and you can arrange to ride horses. The ocean waves are rough and I would not advise anyone venturing in too deep unless they have a flotation device. Strong rip currents. The staff are all very welcoming."

"There is only ONE thing that caused 2 separate problems. The staff is not intimately familiar with reading the room numbers on the room keys. Our party of 4 arrived and were directed to a building on the property with two separate room keys. One key did not match any room in the building and the other key matched an OCCUPIED room in an adjacent building. Frustration at the least and a potential security issue. The key issue was eventually resolved…..eventually. Our family finally settled in. At one o’clock in the morning, I was awakened by our sliding glass door opening. It was a drunken group attempting to enter our room. Apparently they also had a key to our room. Fortunately, the group realized they were entering the wrong room. The site appears to hand out keys randomly or has multiple duplicate keys. Aside from that the view is lovely and the swimming pool with swim up bar is awesome. Beware of security issues. Be very aware."

"This was a hallmark getaway for my wife and I on our honeymoon as well a milestone birthday. The staff was amazing, the venue was perfect, food was Michelin quality and the experience we had was perfectly well rounded, 5-star. A diamond in the rough! Thank you, Encantada! "El lugar es precioso frente el mar y muy amplio , le falta mucho mantenimiento , solo es accesible por vehículo , no hay servicio público , los precios de la comida son altos , unn30% más que el promedio , queda cómoda 2 km otros lugares más acequibkes en comida o supermercado"
