This is the best hotel of our trip. The beachfront location is unbeatable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant served excellent breakfast and dinner. We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We had the delux beachfront villa. The villa was amazing !!! Such a cool relaxed vibe. Beautiful artwork. Such an amazing space. The restaurants food was great and reasonably priced. Just wish we had longer there. The private pool was fantastic.

This location was a dream. It felt like we had private beach, pools and restaurant at times. I don’t know if it was slow season but it was perfect. The pools would have been nicer if they weren’t so warm and there could have been more beach umbrellas, sunshades, lounge chairs, etc.

Our family of 4 spent 4 nights at Alma per a friends recommendation and it absolutely did not disappoint. Everything was very calm and relaxing, staff were friendly and helpful in keeping our room clean as well as providing options for excursions, and the property was beautiful. We’re so glad we stayed and I can’t recommend it more!

We loved our stay at Alma! It was everything we were looking for and more. The amenities and room were great and being able to walk to the beach was key for us as we saw the best sunsets every day. The staff were also great, Angie and Juan were always helpful, nice and got us everything we needed. Some small recommendations is to have some more lounge chairs by the beach as sometimes they were hard to find. And a bar by the pool would have been awesome. Otherwise, we loved staying at Alma.

Een van de weinige hotels in dit gedeelte van Costa Rica met directe strandtoegang. Elke dag wakker worden met palmbomen, eigen plunge pool voor je deur en de zee er achter. We kwamen sommige dagen de bungelow niet eens uit. Hotel is wel al wat ouder en zal op den deur wat moeten vernieuwen, maar het heeft ook zijn charme. Front desk personeel was aardig, Juan van het restaurant was een topper. Soms lijkt het overige restaurant personeel niet altijd even gemotiveerd, maar dat was dan ook het enige minpunt.

The property was very beautiful. The staff were very attentive, and helpful. We ate at the restaurant several times and each dining experience was excellent with views of the beach while you dine. The rooms are amazing. It feels like you have your own little house in paradise.

Best beach for walking

They didnt offer anything special for being hotels VIP but other then that, it was all very lively, beautiful gardens, the best beach for walking and great service!

Um hotel incrível. Ficamos no vista mar e valeu cada centavo. Quarto enorme, banheiro enorme, cama deliciosa, na beira do mar... atendimento primoroso e todo o hotel muito lindo. Não recomendo as refeições. O jantar bem ok, o café da manhã pobre. Mas ficaria de novo sem dúvida
